Join us as longtime creative collaborators Normand Dupont and Marie-Andrée Hueglin explore the fascinating creative process as it applies to theatre, dance, and painting.

Normand Dupont is a retired high school art and drama teacher whose paintings are displayed at the Wolfe Island Gallery. He is the Artistic Director of the French community theatre company Les Tréteaux de Kingston, and was Artistic Director of the Centre culturel Frontenac from 2020 to 2024.

Marie-Andrée Hueglin is the President of Les Tréteaux de Kingston, where she has spent 30 years acting, directing, and writing. She is also a curricular advisor for the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est.

Plein Air on Wolfe Island

Nancy Steele leads this event with an exhibition of her recent plein air work, a reception and artist's talk, plein air meetups, and a plein air oil painting workshop!

Open to amateur photographers who are part-time or full-time residents of the Frontenac Islands (Garden, Horseshoe, Howe, Simcoe, Wolfe)

Are you an artist interested in joining us and displaying your work at the Wolfe Island Gallery this summer? You are invited to apply!

Submission deadline April 25.

Submissions will be juried. All media welcome! Priority will be given to artists living on or with connections to the Frontenac Islands; artists from other areas will be accepted subject to space availability.
