2026 Wolfe Island Photo Contest

DIVISIONS:

Maximum one prize per person per category

1. Youth (up to age 16)

2. Adult (17+)

CATEGORIES:

Photos must be taken on/of the islands:

1. Wildlife

2. Island Life

3. Landscape/scenery

JUDGES:

Entries will be judged by photographer Linda Krakow Eaman and painter/Wolfe Island Gallery curator Nancy Steele.

TO ENTER:

• The contest is open to amateur photographers who are full-time or part-time residents of the Frontenac Islands (Garden, Horseshoe, Howe, Simcoe, Wolfe)

• Adults: $3 per photograph
  Youth: $1 per photograph

• Enter as many photos as you wish.

• Photos may not have previously won a prize in a Wolfe Island photo contest.

• You may enter photos taken in 2024-2026

• Wildlife photos must be taken ethically. Photos taken by baiting wild animals (offering them food) are not allowed. Bird feeders are ok. 

• Photos may be taken using film or digital format and must be unaltered except for minor retouching and adjustments such as cropping or colour adjustment.

• Entries must be unmounted 5”x7” prints.

• Write your name, phone number, email, division, category on the back of the print. A sticker is best, as ink often bleeds through to the front of the print. 

• Bring print and payment to the Wolfe Island Gallery during OPEN hours.
