 Upcycling Workshop with Angie Macauley, seamstress from Wolfe Island Sewing and Alterations
Turn your old clothes into something new! Bring a t-shirt and turn it into a customized pillow or stuffed animal. Workshop oriented towards both children and adults.  Sunrise/Sunset Art Event takes you into the magical hours of the early morning and late afternoon to find inspiration through painting or photography. Join a small group of enthusiastic artists on Wolfe Island or make your own thing happen in your own backyard. Sunrises and sunsets wait for no person, so anyone interested will need to have everything ready to go as soon as the sun starts to move. Nancy plans to have her paints and canvas set up and ready to use at her chosen site, then paint like mad with the sun. That goes for photographers as well. Once painted or photographed, she encourages participants to post their results on the gallery Facebook page or Twitter, and if possible bring the work into the gallery for display. If you are an islander, consider entering photos in the competition before the end of September 29. This event is open to adults and children and if anyone wants to join Nancy will make sure that she has some extra paint and canvases if needed.  Kids and adults use acrylics to paint Yelda’s truck with theme of love and peace. To take place in SIDE parking lot of township hall. DUE TO RAIN, time changed to SUNDAY, 1:oopm - 3:00pm.
