The Wolfe Island Gallery presents:
Plein Air Painting on Wolfe Island
3-Day Workshop with Nancy Steele
September 6, 7, 8 - 10am to 3pm
Stools and easels can be provided if needed. Bring paints (oils, acrylics or watercolours), pencils, charcoal or inks, boards (small), canvases or paper (with tape and backing board) and a lidded jar for water or medium. Oil painters need linseed oil but no solvent. A minimum of white, 2 yellows, 2 reds, and 2 blues help get you started in colours. I also add transparent earth colours in yellow, red, and blue/black. A lidded palette like a cookie tin is useful with paper palette paper inside. Contact Nancy for any additional consultation on materials.
