Photography is how I see the world.
Whether I'm at home or traveling, capturing candids on the street, wandering in the woods, or photographing an event for a client, a camera helps me to connect with people and places. I love the way a photograph can tell a story and open a window to another place and time. After almost 30 years of visiting Wolfe Island we finally moved here in 2020, and I've spent much of the time since then getting to know the landscape and the wildlife, wandering with a camera and a sketchbook. At the gallery you'll find cards and small prints of some of my favourite Wolfe Island images. I recently experienced a different wilderness, in Botswana, and this is the inspiration for my gallery display this year. I share these images in the hope that you will look into the eyes of a leopard or lion, smile at a giraffe’s goofy grin, or see the connection between a mother and baby elephant, and feel the pull—and the magic—of the wilderness. Studio visits welcome, by appointment. |
