Barbara Halladay
In 2017, a few individual artists on Wolfe Island decided to open a cooperative seasonal art
gallery on our island. It has since become an important hub for the many artists on the island. Art has been my passion since I was a child, struggling to draw horses who inevitably ended up with no neck, but looked pretty good to me! Currently, I am passionate about painting in an abstract fashion—lots layers, colours, ideas—with the occasional attempt at almost-but-not-quite realism. I work mainly with acrylics, and I love painting on a smooth flat board surface. |
