Wendy is an artist with initial training at Alma College. After graduating she took a different journey and put her art career on hold. Wendy
married and raised three beautiful boys. As they got older, Wendy slowly began to pick up a paint brush once again, reigniting her passion for the canvas. Having spent childhood summers in Muskoka, she has had a lifelong attraction to raw nature and clearly these inspirational landscapes influence her works with the simple beauty of nature driving her painting motif. Wendy has done a number of shows and sold numerous paintings, predominantly in the Greater Toronto area. She also is represented by Pixie Blue Gallery in Port Credit Mississauga. It was her sister who first introduced Wendy to this beautiful island and the people who reside there. After a couple of visits, her family fell in love with everything about Wolfe Island and bought a home of their own a few years ago. |
