During the time of film, I used slides to create composite photographs. Now with digital photography, I do the same thing on the computer. I photograph many backgrounds to use as layers to give my photographs a painterly look. My most enjoyable photography takes place in nature, she is my muse.
My photographs are printed onto metal, a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets.
