I am an abstract painter from Wolfe Island, where I have lived on and off for the past seven years.
It is difficult to put my passion for painting into few words. Painting has allowed me to become aware of and to appreciate the interconnectedness of all things. Painting has brought me above and out of severe waves of difficulty throughout my time. It is an important part of who I am and how I express my self. I use painting as a way to measure my personal interaction with the world. It is a tangible representation of my feelings during a moment in space and time. Feelings become a painting in this context: a vision, a viewpoint, a glimpse into that very moment in space in time, through and from my being, in which may never truly be defined.
