When news came that I was going to be a grandmother, I started playing with fabric to create quilted pieces for my future grandchild. After blanketing my precious ones, I set my overactive mind to stitching smaller pieces to help block the sun from blinding me in my COVID-era home office. Who here has curtains? When not Zooming on the computer, or sewing in the space appropriated for my mess, I can be found wandering the roads of Kawehnóhkwes tsi kawè:note, keeping an eye out for ideas to inspire my next quilt.
