Debra Krakow is an artist and architect who grew up in the heart of Montreal but now works out of her Wolfe Island studio, looking out over farmers’ fields and the St. Lawrence seaway. Her paintings express a deeply felt connection to the natural world, seen through the lens of an architect and former urbanite. This year, Deb collaborated with a clothing company in Montreal to make some of her work into dresses, tunics and accessories. She has also recently released a beautiful art journal of her travels in India.
She is represented by galleries in Toronto, Prince Edward County, Kingston and Ottawa.
