Corliss Piazetski
Corliss has been a resident of Wolfe Island for over 40 years. She has attended art workshops in Newfoundland, Ottawa and Peterborough. Some of her creations are garden art which include free standing shapes that can sustain indoor and outdoor environments. Her smaller pieces are delightful human forms doing ordinary things and are mounted on locally sourced sparkling quartz. The sculptures are created with wire, foil, fabric, and a special solution from Belgium which acts as a final earth toned coating. Smaller sculptures cost around $25, medium ones are $45 and large herons are $185 and look great in gardens or large indoor living spaces.
