Barbara Halladay
Barbara halladay, resident of Wolfe Island for 25 years, has been making art for as long as she can remember. Currently working with a variety of paint medium, she contrives visions of a world influenced by a unique sense of humour and her passion for street art, pop art and things outside the realm of vision. She once won first prize in an oil painting contest in grade eight. That was a long time ago.
Barb uses acrylic on board or canvas. These 12” x 12 " framed pieces are made with acrylic paint and gold leaf. They are painted in layers on a plate, then printed layer by layer, sometimes up to nine layers on one piece. Larger works are acrylic on board. |
